About Our Making Process
Each Agastya Muni idol at Bhunes is handcrafted by master artisans using the ancient lost-wax casting technique, rooted in the Chola bronze art tradition of South India. The idol is sculpted from sacred metal combinations such as Panchaloha, Panchdhatu, Kanchu Loha, and Tamrapanchaka, believed to enhance divine energy. Every curve, ornamentation, and yogic detail is carved with spiritual intent, paying homage to the Maha Muni Agastya, also known as Agastya Maharishi, Kumbhayoni, Agastya Munivar, and Siddhar Agastya.
