About Our Making Process
This divine Bhudevi idol, also revered as Vasundhara, Prithvi Devi, Bhoo Devi, Bhoomata, Dharani, and Dharti Maa, is a traditional handcrafted sculpture made by skilled South Indian artisans at Bhunes. We follow the sacred lost-wax casting technique, rooted in Chola art, to mold this piece using the authentic Panchaloha alloy — a holy five-metal combination of bronze, copper, tin, silver, and gold as prescribed in the Shilpa Shastras. Panchaloha idols are known to bring spiritual balance, positive energy, health, prosperity, and good fortune into your space.
