About Our Making Process
This sacred idol of Lord Murugan with Valli and Devasena is meticulously handcrafted at Bhunes using the ancient lost wax casting technique, rooted in the Chola art tradition. We follow the principles of the Shilpa Shastras to blend the five divine metals — Bronze, Copper, Tin, Silver, and Gold — into an authentic Panchaloha (Pancha Dhatu) alloy. This sacred composition, also known as Tamrapanchaka, Panchaloha Alloy, or Ashtadhatu in some regions, is believed to radiate spiritual energy, bringing health, balance, prosperity, and divine grace into your space.
Every Murugan idol is shaped with devotion, capturing the divine presence of Skanda, also known as Karthikeya, Kumara Swamy, Vel Murugan, Senthil, Arumugam, Vadivela, and Shanmukha, flanked by his celestial consorts Valli and Deivanai (Devayani).

Deity Significance
